Papua is a island made of beautiful islands, and is one of the worlds 2nd largest island in the world in Indonesia. With a diverse culture,
unique food and stunning landscapes and truly a divers paradise.
Papua is on my list to explore here in INDONESIA with all they have to offer, but I don't have to travel too far to be able to try some of the signature Papuan food, I traveled to a local Papua restaurant called Papua Coffee & Kitchen owned by Indonesian celebrities, located in South Jakarta in the Kemang area. This was one of my most interesting culinary experiences so far. First walking in to Alenia Papua Coffee & Kitchen you will notice all the local Papua art displayed and architecture that is truly a sight to see by itself. Also you can hear the traditional Papua music playing in the back , making you feel like your in Papua.
But thats not all, I cant even tell you how impressed I was with the presentation of the food as it came out. I ordered 3 dishes too try, and there where all so delicious. The quality and flavor of the dishes is great, making a perfect dining experience.
There have everything to satisfy your hungry belly and to complete that mystery of how Papuan food actually taste like.
