Hey guys! trying something new this time. I tried to combine a 1 day vlog and cooking at the same time. I love it cause I can show you what I eat out and what I cook at home. And this video is also in Bahasa, cause I'm trying to see whether or not it is better. Talking to the camera in public is definitely easier when speaking in Bahasa!

RECIPE:
NASI LIWET:
- 3 cups rice
- 3 cups water
- 2 lemongrass
- 2 kaffir lime leaves
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1/4 red onion (the big one, not the small asian shallot)
- 1 spring onion, roughly chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp powdered chicken stock
TAHU ISI (STUFFED TOFU)
filling:
- 2 carrots, julienned
- 125gr beansprout
- 1/4 onion and 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- salt & pepper
the outside:
- 300gr tofu puff, triangle
- all purpose flour + water + salt & pepper, until it is the consistency of thickened cream
PESMOL FISH
- barramundi fillet cut into pieces
- flour, salt & pepper
- 1/4 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 lemongrass
- 1 kaffir lime leave
- 2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 4 whole red chillies
- 400ml coconut milk
- optional: if you have any leftover from the stuffed tofu filling
- salt and pepper, to taste
STIRFRIED BEANSPROUT:
- 250g beansprout
- 1 spring onion, roughly chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1/4 onion
- 4 red bird chillies
- 2 tbs light soy sauce
- 2 tbs ikan bilis
- salt & pepper, to taste
TAHU TELUR (tofu and egg)
sauce:
- 100g roasted granulated peanuts
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 onion
- 3 tbs kecap manis (sweet soy sauce)
- boiling water to thin sauce
- salt & pepper, to taste
- (optional) 1/2 tbs shrimp paste
- 250g silken tofu
- 3 eggs
- salt & pepper, to taste
